ITEM SUMMARY:
* MCDC will conduct a public hearing on a request submitted by McKinney Parks and Recreation Department in the amount of $1,177,920 for the following projects:
o $400,000 for Parks Master Plan;
o $200,000 for ADA Remediations throughout the parks system; and
o $577,920 for equipment and vehicles including:
* 3 Ford Explorers for facilities staff and 3 Ford trucks for maintenance to improve Parks department's ability to inspect, maintain, and respond to operational needs at parks, recreation centers, and community facilities throughout McKinney;
* A trailer to increase operational efficiency by allowing staff to transport equipment, materials, and supplies safely between sites, while reducing downtime and maximizing productivity;
* A concierge golf cart at the Senior Recreation Center to enhance accessibility and customer service; and
* A skid steer to allow staff to perform grading, landscaping, debris removal, material handling, and other essential maintenance tasks more efficiently.
