ITEM SUMMARY:
* The Parks and Recreation Department is requesting several project funding reappropriations as follows:
o $2,797,804.00 to PK1831 (Wattley). This project is scheduled to break ground in Summer 2025. The Engineering Department will be performing remediation work to the adjacent creekbank which required an access easement in order to not traverse the park. Parks agreed not to begin the construction until this easement was secured.
o $489,314.00 to PK2041 (Old Settlers Park). This project is currently in design phase with construction bidding anticipated this Fall.
o $1,580,743.00 to PK2109 (Greens Neighborhood Park). This project is under construction with an estimated completion in Summer 2025.
o $315,077.00 to PK2349 (Mobile Stage). This project is in production with estimated completion date of October 2025.
o $318,664.00 to PK2343 (Horizon Park). This project is complete, and this reappropriation will complete the final payment.
o $1,039,504.00 to PK4397 (Recreation Center at Towne Lake). This project is under construction with an estimated completion date in Fall 2025.
