RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $804,528, as well as all required supplemental agreements thereto, with Halff Associates, Inc. for professional consulting engineering services for the Silverado Trail Lanes 3 & 4 Project (CIP Project ST2013), for a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any supplemental agreements, not to exceed $900,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The FY24-28 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) includes funding for the design and construction of Silverado Trail Lanes 3 & 4 between Kenley Drive and Burnett Drive.
* This project will include the construction of approximately 570 linear feet of the westbound lanes of Silverado Trail from Kenley Drive to Burnett Drive, including an approximately 180 foot-long bridge over Rowlett Creek.
* The bridge over Rowlett Creek will include sidewalk and a connection to the hike and bike trail underpass beneath the bridge.
* There is an existing NTMWD 30" sanitary sewer line which will be relocated with this project to allow for the bridge construction. An interlocal agreement with NTMWD will be brought to a future City Council meeting.
* Halff Associates, Inc. submitted a response to 21-41RFQ for On-Call Roadway Design Services. They were one of eleven (11) firms shortlisted by City Council on September 7, 202...
