RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* McKinney National Airport is requesting to amend Resolution No. 2026-07-122 (R), which was passed and approved by City Council on July 21, 2026, because the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to increase the amount of discretionary grant funding to be awarded to the city under the Fiscal Year 2026 Airport Improvement Program from $2,736,000 to an amount not to exceed $5,087,250 to add site preparation and earthwork, such as excavating and grading, to the scope of work for the Taxiway C Extension Project. These site preparation activities will prepare the site for Phase II construction. The original scope of work included only planning and design services for Phases II and III of the Taxiway C Extension Project.
* The amount of the required local match will now be an amount not to exceed $276,750, or 5% of the total budget, which is not to exceed $5,355,000.
