RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION:                     

                     Staff recommends approval of the proposed resolution to revise the Administration Policy and Guidelines for Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 1.

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     This item is to consider amendments to the Administration Policy and Guidelines for Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 1.

                     The proposed amendments are intended to provide clarity.

                     Proposed changes to the Administration Policy and Guidelines include:

o                     Removing the basis of staff recommendations on an established internal evaluation criteria

o                     Addition of a chart to quickly reference project or expenditure types, required matches, and funding caps.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     The proposed amendments to the Administration Policy and Guidelines would not increase or decrease any funding guidelines.
