RECOMMENDED ACTION:                     

                     Recommend that City Council approve a resolution for construction.

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

 

                     The proposed project will include constructing The McKinney Light Walk at Towne Lake Park, which is a trail system throughout the wooded area south of the pond that will be complete with decorative lighting to enhance and amplify the experience.

 

                     On November 21st, the City of McKinney received bids for this project. Staff will provide an update at the Board meeting. 

 

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

 

                     LJA Engineering recently completed the design of the Light Walk.

 

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     This project (PK4393) is a FY24-25 Capital Improvements Program funded by MCDC, Bond and Parkland Dedication funds.
