ITEM SUMMARY:
* In July 2024, Sanchez Charities, LLC was awarded $517,192.00 for costs related to horizontal infrastructure and site development costs for NeighborHub. This request is for an additional $1,200,000 to increase the project scope to a 3-acre site with a 35,000-45,000 square foot, two-story building, bringing the total grant amount to $1,717,192.
* Based on preliminary estimates and population needs, the NeighborHub anticipates providing services to more than 5,000 individuals in the first year and over 20,000 by the fifth year.
* The anchor agencies are now identified as One Heart McKinney, Streetside Showers, Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors, and Catholic Charities of Dallas.
