RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a construction agreement with RNDI Companies, Inc. to provide asbestos abatement and demolition services related to the old City Hall and Development Services Buildings Demolition Project (Project No. FC2630).
* The selected firm, RNDI Companies, Inc., submitted a proposal to provide asbestos abatement and demolition services for an amount of $395,237 for the old City Hall and Development Services Demolition Project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* On January 16, 2026, Procurement Services issued a Request for Proposals (26-30RFP) for Demolition and Asbestos Abatement Services on behalf of the Public Works Department. The purpose of this RFP is to secure a qualified vendor to provide demolition and asbestos abatement services for the removal of the former City Hall and Development Services buildings.
* Out of the 612 eProcurement invitations, nine (9) proposals were received and opened on February 12, 2026. Two (2) proposals were deemed non-responsive for failing to acknowledge the addendum, and one (1) proposal was deemed to be non-responsi...
