RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approve the proposed resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• Staff recommends approval of a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a term sheet governing amendments to a 2008 Facilities Agreement for approximately 1,223.5 acres of land in the City of McKinney, generally located north of US 380, south of Bloomdale Road, adjacent to Stonebridge Drive.
• The proposed term sheet outlines the public infrastructure to be constructed and the funding of the improvements.
• If approved, the terms included on the proposed term sheet will serve as the foundation from which the first amendment to the Facilities Agreement will be drafted.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Original Facilities Agreement is dated March 17, 2008, and involves the Property recorded at Clerk’s Document No. 20080320000335720 in the Official Public records of Collin County, Texas on the 20th day of March 2008.
