RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends Council approve the Parking Facilities Management Agreement.

ITEM SUMMARY:
This item authorizes a Parking Facilities Management Agreement between the City of McKinney and Interstate Parking Company Airports, LLC for management and operation of the airport parking facilities.
The initial term is three years and two months beginning in 2026, with renewal options. Compensation includes a management fee based on net revenue, a monthly technology fee, and City reimbursement of approved operating expenses.
The agreement supports implementation of a new parking access and revenue control system for the Airport.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The City issued a Request for Proposal (26-36RFP) to solicit responses for a Airport Parking Management Program on Feb. 6, 2025.
