ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     This Resolution authorizes formal rejection of all bids received under Solicitation 25-33AC for Irrigation Services Repair and Installation.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The City issued Invitation to Bid, 25-33AC on February 28, 2025, for Irrigation Services Repair and Installation.

 

o                     Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette

o                     Posted on McKinney TV

o                     3639 matching Bonfire supplier notifications which included four (4) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers

 

                     Out of 3639 supplier notifications, three (3) bids were received on March 20, 2025, from And, Inc. of Wylie, TX, Pace Construction Services LLC of Melissa, TX, and Jackrabbit Land Services LLC of Mansfield, TX.

 

                     The Parks & Recreation and Procurement Services departments evaluated the bids received and after a line item comparison, most lines had a significant cost difference and the bids were deemed unsatisfactory. As a result, the departments elected to reject all bids.
