• Approval of the resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• These principles will guide the development and partnership selection of a Destination Sports Park and entertainment district at a 270-acre city-owned parcel southwest and northwest of Bloomdale Road and Taylor Burk Drive.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• An RFQ for a development partner on the City-owned 270 acres is recommended to be advertised soon.
• The vision for this land is to secure a partnership that will develop the land with multiple sports opportunities, including public uses, as well as entertainment and hospitality opportunities.
