• Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This resolution authorizes the formal rejection of all proposals under Solicitation 26-05CSP, Erwin Park.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued a solicitation (26-05CSP) for the construction of Erwin Park.
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 446 matching Bonfire Supplier Notifications
o Including 5 Historically Underutilized Business Supplier Notifications
• Out of 449 supplier notifications, five (2) proposals were received on March 06, 2023.
• After reviewing the submitted proposals with the project architect, the Parks and Recreation Department has been advised to reject all proposals and rebid the project. This is due to a necessary line item not being included in the bid tab, resulting in inaccurate bid pricing.
• On behalf of Parks and Recreation, Procurement Services will re-issue a new solicitation for the construction of the Erwin Park Improvements.
