RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This item authorizes the sale, at fair market value, of a 40' Permanent Sanitary Sewer Easement and a 20' Temporary Construction Easement totaling approximately 0.310 Acres to North Texas Municipal Water District ("NTMWD") for use in the construction of the Stover Creek Force Main Pipeline Project (the "Project"), and further authorizes the City Manager to execute all necessary easements and documents for the sale of said property.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* NTMWD is currently planning for the construction of the Project and acquiring the easements necessary for the Project. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2026.
* NTMWD finds it necessary to acquire easement rights on City-owned land for use as a 40' Permanent Sanitary Sewer Easement which is identified in the Resolution as Exhibit "A", Tract I and a 20' Temporary Construction Easement which is identified in the Resolution as Exhibit "A", Tract II.
