RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. to provide architectural and engineering (A/E) services related to the design of the North Recreation Center.
The selected architectural and engineering consultant team, Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. submitted a proposal to provide design services for the project.
Parkhill was awarded as one of the City’s pool vendors for A&E Services for Facilities Construction through RFQ 25-06RFQ.
The project envisions an approximately 85,600 square foot facility that includes indoor aquatics, fitness and wellness, gymnasium and active recreation spaces, community rooms, locker and changing facilities, administrative and operational areas, and a 10-lane competition pool.
