RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes a supplemental agreement with Gresham Smith to provide additional professional engineering services for the design of the Joplin Drive Sewer Improvements Project (WW2338) for an increase in the not to exceed from $93,593 to a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $120,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Gresham Smith is currently under contract with the City for design services related to the Joplin Drive Sewer Improvements Project. As design on the project has progressed, the following additional services will be required which were not included in Gresham Smith's original contract:
o Prepare easement acquisition field notes for six (6) parcels of permanent sanitary sewer and temporary construction easements.
* Design of the project began in March 2023 and is expected to be completed by April 2024.
* Gresham Smith submitted a proposal for $16,500 for these additional services ($110,093 aggregate contract total), which has been reviewed by staff and exceeds the previously authorized not to exceed amount of $93,593.
