ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes an award of contract and allows for the City Manager to enter into a contract with Innovation HVAC Services, LLC dba Assured Comfort Services LLC to provide products and services to replace the HVAC systems in Barney and Me Boxing Gym, McKinney Performing Arts Center, McKinney Public Safety Building, Old Setter's Recreation Center and McKinney National Airport Hangar (TI) for a total contract amount of $1,324,122.02 and not-to-exceed $1,500,000.00.


BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The City issued Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals, 25-28CSP to solicit proposals from respondents capable of replacing the HVAC systems

* The CSP was issued on December 15, 2024
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier-Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 3632 eBid supplier notifications which included 2 Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers

* Out of 3632 supplier notifications, three (3) proposal was received on January 16, 2025.

* An evaluation team comprised of members from Facilities department reviewed and scored the responses based on the following criteria outlined in the CSP:


o 25% - Offeror's Narrative Approach to Construction
o 25% - Contractor and Subcontractor Qualifications
o 40% - Base Proposal Price
o 10% - Contractor Schedule of Calendar Days for Substantial Completion (All Construction Phases)
