ITEM SUMMARY:
? This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute an Amendment to the Advance Funding Agreement (AFA) in the amount of $548,600 for Voluntary Local Government Contributions to Transportation Improvement Projects with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for the construction of a right turn lane along Spur 399 under CIP Project ST2136.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The City has previously entered into an AFA with TxDOT for the Construction of continuous illumination, upgraded drainage systems, and upgraded median treatments to be constructed with TxDOT’s project for SH 5 roadway improvements from Spur 399 to McMakin Street, referenced as CSJ 0047-05-057. Construction of the project is currently underway.
TxDOT has prepared this amendment to the AFA to include the addition of a right turn lane along the southbound frontage road of Spur 399 east of Medical Center Drive.
