RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $147,005.00, as well as all required supplemental agreements thereto, with Alliance Geotechnical Group, Inc. for geotechnical and materials testing services for the construction of Towne Lake Phase 1C (PK2608), for a total contract amount, inclusive of any supplemental agreements, not to exceed $155,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* A concurrent item is included on the Council Agenda recommending award of a construction contract for Towne Lake Phase 1C (PK2608)
* Materials testing services will be required on the project to ensure construction materials used by the contractor meet or exceed City requirements.
* Alliance Geotechnical Group, Inc. submitted a response to 24-13RFQ for On-call Miscellaneous Geotechnical and Materials Testing Services. Alliance Geotechnical Group, Inc. is one of six firms shortlisted by City Council on March 5, 2024.
* Alliance Geotechnical Group, Inc. has successfully performed in a similar capacity on numerous City projects.
