• Code Services staff will highlight the effective partnership between Animal Services and Mutts and Mayhem, an emergency search and rescue organization.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• McKinney Animal Services routinely partners with Mutts and Mayhem to assist in capturing elusive stray dogs.
• During the recent snow and ice storm, this partnership, along with help from a local property owner, enabled the safe capture of a dog that had repeatedly evaded officers and was at risk in the freezing conditions.
