ITEM SUMMARY: The applicant requests to rezone approximately 2.09 acres of land, generally to allow commercial uses and a new and unlisted use (non-profit and community service center) and modify the development standards.
An identical Planned Development rezoning request was heard for 1.76 acres of the proposed request and was approved by the Planning and Zoning commission on November 11, 2025 with a vote of 7-0-0; and by City Council on December 2, 2025 with a vote of 7-0-0. This new request expands that proposal by including an additional 0.33 acres recently acquired along the frontage. The proposed rezone will allow for the entire project to be under the same "PD" - Planned Development District and develop the newly acquired tract.
