ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract and all necessary change orders with Garret Shields Infrastructure, for the Construction of turn lanes and necessary off-site improvements for Various Roadway Improvements Package 1 related to the McKinney Sunset Amphitheatre project (CIP Project ST2514) for a total contract amount not to exceed $2,050,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* GM Civil Engineering & Surveying prepared the plans for the Construction of turn lanes and necessary off-site improvements for Various Roadway Improvements Package 1 related to the McKinney Sunset Amphitheatre project.
* The planned improvements consist of turn lanes, sidewalks, crosswalks, streetlights, as well as the installation of dynamic lane control assemblies to facilitate intersection improvements and traffic flow.
* The City issued a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (26-63CSP) to solicit responses from qualified contractors for the Construction of turn lanes and necessary off-site improvements for Various Roadway Improvements Package1 related to the McKinney Sunset Amphitheatre project.
