                     Staff recommends approval of the resolution.

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The Federal Legislative agenda focuses on areas in the best interest of McKinney’s citizens and businesses, including aviation, transportation, transit, water supply, flood control, public safety, and other federal grant programs.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     Rich Leidl, P.C. is the City’s federal legislative consultant and provides consultant services to the city regarding airport, grants, and other miscellaneous legislation.

                     The Federal Legislative Agenda will direct Mr. Leidl in his efforts as a liaison to legislators and their staff, as well as providing federal legislative consulting services to assist the City in seeking federal approval for City projects.
