RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a change order with DDM Construction Corporation, to provide additional construction services, for the construction of the Virginia Street and Throckmorton Street Infrastructure Improvements (Municipal Complex) Project (CIP Projects ST2235, WA2235, and WW2235 - Formerly CO2235) increasing the not to exceed amount from $10,650,000 to a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional change order, not to exceed $11,250,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* DDM Construction Corporation is currently under contract with the City for construction services related to the construction of the Virginia Street and Throckmorton Street Infrastructure Improvements (Municipal Complex) Project.
* As construction on the project has progressed, additional construction services have been necessary due to additional work to install Oncor's transformer and switch gear pads as well as secondary electric conduits, remove and dispose of old rail wooden crossties and other trash found during excavation and some miscellaneous items that were not included in the original contract.
* DDM Construction Corporation submitted an estimate of $526,839.89 for this change order to complete the construction of this project.
