ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes an award of contract and allows for the City Manager to enter into a contract with Gemini Stage Lighting and Equipment Company, LLC to provide products and services to replace the theatrical lighting system in McKinney Performing Arts Center for a total contract amount not-to-exceed $165,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The City issued Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals, 24-42CSP to solicit proposals from respondents capable of upgrading the McKinney Performing Arts Center's current theatrical lighting system.
* The CSP was issued on April 21, 2024
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier-Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 225 eBid supplier notifications which included 11 Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers
* Out of 225 supplier notifications, one (1) proposal was received on May 23, 2024.
* An evaluation team comprised of members from the McKinney Performing Arts Center and Facilities departments reviewed and scored the responses based on the following criteria outlined in the CSP:
o 25% - Contractor's Qualifications
o 20% - Capability and Capacity to Perform Work
o 35% - Cost Proposal
o 20% - References
