RECOMMENDED ACTION:

 

                     Recommend that City Council approve a resolution for construction.

 

                     

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The proposed improvements to Gabe Nesbitt Park and the Apex Centre will include constructing two entry monument signs, an irrigated and sodded practice field, and a fenced, lighted fitness lawn on the east side of the Apex Centre.

 

                     •On April 17th, the City of McKinney received bids for this project. Staff will provide an update at the Board meeting. 

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     Studio Outside recently completed the design of these improvements.

 

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     This project (PK2554) is a FY24-25 Capital Improvements Program funded by MCDC and parkland dedication funds.
