ITEM SUMMARY:
• The Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with Garver, LLC for McKinney National Airport Project AI2455, Access Taxilane A4.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• Garver, LLC, currently serving as the City’s engineer of record for McKinney National Airport, was selected through a formal Request for Qualifications (RFQ) selection process.
• The proposed scope of work will include project administration, surveying services, geotechnical services, design services, bidding services, and construction administration for the construction of the Access Taxilane A4 on the southwest side of McKinney National Airport.
• Resolution No. 2023-11-001 of the Board of Directors of Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Two, dated November 7, 2023, approved funding for the design and construction of Project AI2455, Access Taxilane A4, in the amount of $2,864,000;
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Total project design and construction administration costs are not to exceed $370,500.
• Upon approval of this item, $2,493,500 will remain in AI2455.
