RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION:                     

                     Approve ordinance

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Budget by appropriating $300,000 from the TIRZ 1 Fund balance for a State Highway 5 Small Area Plan.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     At the December 16 TIRZ 1 meeting, the Board approved a request for $300,000 for a State Highway 5 Small Area Plan as an administrative cost.

                     For Fiscal Year 2026, TIRZ 1 did not allocate funding for administrative costs out of the TIRZ 1 fund balance. This ordinance amends the budget to pull the funding for this project from the fund balance.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Budget by appropriating $300,000 from the TIRZ 1 Fund balance for a State Highway 5 Small Area Plan.

 

 

BOARD OR COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:

                     The TIRZ Board approved the request at the December 16, 2025 Reinvestment Zone No. 1 Regular Meeting.
