ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Budget by appropriating $300,000 from the TIRZ 1 Fund balance for a State Highway 5 Small Area Plan.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• At the December 16 TIRZ 1 meeting, the Board approved a request for $300,000 for a State Highway 5 Small Area Plan as an administrative cost.
• For Fiscal Year 2026, TIRZ 1 did not allocate funding for administrative costs out of the TIRZ 1 fund balance. This ordinance amends the budget to pull the funding for this project from the fund balance.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Budget by appropriating $300,000 from the TIRZ 1 Fund balance for a State Highway 5 Small Area Plan.
