ITEM SUMMARY:
* This item is for approval for the City Manager to execute an interlocal agreement between the Town of Prosper, Texas, the City of Frisco, Texas, and the City of McKinney, Texas for the design, construction, and maintenance of median improvements along US 380 from Lovers Lane to Custer Road including illumination and landscaping.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The Town of Prosper, Texas, the City of Frisco, Texas, and the City of McKinney wish to construct median improvements along US 380 from Lovers Lane to Custer Road including illumination and landscaping.
* A project overview map is included as Exhibit "A" as included in the Interlocal Agreement document attached to this item.
* By entering into this interlocal agreement, the City of McKinney will agree to an equitable sharing of cost for the design, construction and maintenance of the project as outlined in the agreement.
* The Town of Prosper has entered into a professional services agreement with Halff Associates, Inc. for the design of the landscaping improvements to be included in the project.
* In exchange for the Town of Prosper funding the design of the median improvements, the City of McKinney will be responsible for a proportional share of costs, if any, related to ...
