• Present Blue Star Flag to the family of a United States military member currently deployed in combat
ITEM SUMMARY:
• City Council will present a Blue Star Flag to the family of Alec Mack, a McKinney resident and member of the U.S. Army
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• McKinney residents who are the parent(s), child(ren), sibling(s) or spouse of servicemen and women currently deployed in combat areas are invited to receive a Blue Star Flag from the McKinney City Council as a symbol of support from the entire city.
• Eligibility information and application for the McKinney Blue Star Flag Program are available online at <https://www.mckinneytexas.org/1177/Blue-Star-Flag-Program> and through the Office of the City Secretary.
