RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes a professional services contract to provide complete architectural and engineering services related to the design and construction of the North Public Works Complex located at 3501 North Central Expressway, McKinney, Texas 75071.
* The selected consultant team, Quorum Architects, Inc., submitted a proposal to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the North Public Works Complex for $496,900.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Quorum Architects, Inc. is an award winning professional architectural consulting services firm based in Fort Worth, Texas, that specializes in public architecture with an emphasis on public works projects.
* On February 10, 2018, the City of McKinney signed a resolution (2018-02-023R) approving pre-qualified firms to provide architectural and engineering services to the City of McKinney. Quorum Architects, Inc. is one of the five architectural firms chosen to participate in the A/E vendor pool by RFQ 18-16RFQ for A/E Services for various projects for the City of McKinney.
