RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This phase will consist of converting the four northeastern fields to turf, constructing a restroom/storage building, new fencing, entrance enhancements, adding shade for participants and spectators and adding pedestrian trail connectivity.
* These proposed improvements will implement a portion of the new the Master Plan for the soccer complex that will assist in creating a premier sports complex.
* Additionally, the conversion from grass to turf will greatly increase the playability of the fields and increase tournament capabilities.
* This agenda item will authorize a professional services contract with DCBA Landscape Architecture to provide landscape architectural and engineering services related to the renovation of 4 soccer fields and various park improvements at McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch, in a contract amount of $378,754 and not to exceed $390,000.
