ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     McKinney Community Development Corporation will conduct a public hearing on a project grant application submitted by the Heritage Guild of Collin County for costs related to improvements to buildings located at Chestnut Square.

                     The project includes painting Dulaney House, Dulaney Cottage and the Chapel.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The mission of Heritage Guild of Collin County is to celebrate community, preserve history and inspire the future.

                     HGCC was organized more than 40 years ago.

                     HGCC supports Chestnut Square Historic Village - a McKinney museum and tourist destination offering diverse programs and activities throughout the year.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     Funds allocated for FY21 for discretionary Project Grants is $1,530,105.

                     The project grant application is eligible for consideration by the MCDC board under Section 505.152 of the Texas Local Government Code.
