ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes formal rejection of all proposals under Solicitation 21-26RFP Communications Software System.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued a request for proposal (21-26RFP) for the acquisition of a communications software system.
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 511 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
o Including 24 HUB Supplier Notifications
• Out of 511 supplier notifications, four (4) proposals were received on March 18, 2021.
• A committee comprised of staff from the Communications & Marketing and IT Department, reviewed and ranked the proposals based on the following criteria:
o 35 Points: Complete Proposal Cost
o 35 Points: User Experience & Functionality
o 20 Points: Respondent’s Background
o 10 Points: Implementation Plan & Ongoing Vendor Support
• Based on the results of the evaluated proposals, the evaluation team has determined the proposals do not meet the needs outlined in the Request for Proposal.
• On behalf of Communications & Marketing, Procurement Services will re-issue a Request for Proposals for a Communications Software System.
