ITEM SUMMARY:

                     This Resolution authorizes formal rejection of all proposals under Solicitation 21-26RFP Communications Software System.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

                     The City issued a request for proposal (21-26RFP) for the acquisition of a communications software system.

o                     Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette

o                     Posted on McKinney TV

o                     511 matching eBid Supplier Notifications

o                     Including 24 HUB Supplier Notifications

                     Out of 511 supplier notifications, four (4) proposals were received on March 18, 2021.

                     A committee comprised of staff from the Communications & Marketing and IT Department, reviewed and ranked the proposals based on the following criteria:

o                     35 Points: Complete Proposal Cost

o                     35 Points: User Experience & Functionality

o                     20 Points: Respondent’s Background

o                     10 Points: Implementation Plan & Ongoing Vendor Support

 

                     Based on the results of the evaluated proposals, the evaluation team has determined the proposals do not meet the needs outlined in the Request for Proposal.

                     On behalf of Communications & Marketing, Procurement Services will re-issue a Request for Proposals for a Communications Software System.
