RECOMMENDED ACTION:
• Receive a presentation on the update to the Trails Master Plan from Dunaway Associates.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• A critical component of the update to the Trails Master Plan is establishing priorities for our trails system.
• The consultant team from Dunaway Associates will begin by providing an overview of the planning process as well as leading the discussion on priorities and rankings for our trails system.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• On May 19, 2021, the Parks and Recreation Department hosted a virtual community meeting to discuss the City-Wide Trail Master Plan and released a survey to collect resident feedback on what they would like to see in the future for McKinney’s hike and bike trails.
