ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes award of a fixed price contract with Brightview Landscape Services, Inc. of Blue Bell, PA and Incircle Management, Inc. of Colleyville, TX for Mowing and Grounds Maintenance.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The purpose of this contract is to provide the Parks and Recreation Department with the ability to provide mowing and grounds maintenance under a fixed price contract on an as needed basis.
* The City issued Invitation to Bid 21-24FP, Mowing and Grounds Maintenance on April 4, 2021.
o Advertised in McKinney Courier Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 385 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
o 17 Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Vendors were notified.
* In response to all notices published, seven (7) bids were received on April 29, 2021 from:
o Brightview Landscape Services, Inc.
o DWW Landscape Inc
o Good Earth Corporation
o Incircle Management, Inc.
o Lawn Star Landscape
o SRH Landscapes LLC
o Yellowstone Landscape LLC
* An evaluation team comprised of City staff reviewed and ranked the bids based on the following criteria:
o 40%-Purchase Price
o 27%- Reputation of The Bidder and of The Bidder's Goods or Services Verified Through Reference Checks
o 10%-Accountability and Inspection methods
o 20%-Equipment
o 3%-Local Vendor Preference
