ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     At the June 15, 2022 Council meeting, several residents requested that the Council include a meeting agenda item to discuss commercial kitchen emissions.

                     Two members of the City Council requested that this item be added to the agenda for the June 22, 2021 work session and special council meeting.

                     If directed by Council, staff will research emission regulations for commercial kitchens and present these findings to the city council at the July 20th meeting, along with any recommendations that may be warranted.

                     Staff will outline options for the city council in how to approach the specific issue presented in the public comments, along with the implications for all commercial kitchens in the city.
