STAFF RECOMMENDATION:  Staff recommends that the public hearing be closed and the item be tabled indefinitely as the proposed rezoning request to the “MTC” - McKinney Town Center District is no longer necessary.

ITEM SUMMARY:  On behalf of the City of McKinney, the proposed request is to rezone the subject property to the “MTC” McKinney Town Center Zoning District, Transit Village Edge Character District, generally for development of a public parking lot. The subject property is currently owned by the City of McKinney and the proposed rezoning would allow for it to be incorporated and developed for use as a public parking lot.
