• Thirteen (13) grant applications were received totaling $200,612 in grant requests.
• Twelve (12) organizations are recommended for Season Grant funding.
• Funding is only provided to support events or programs held within the City of McKinney. This includes funding awarded to any non-McKinney based organizations.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• With Ordinance 2005-01-008, Council appointed commission members and approved funding for Arts projects in 2005.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• The approved Fiscal Year 2022 Budget includes $200,000 from General Fund to support the arts in McKinney.
BOARD OR COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
• The Arts Commission recommends accepting grant award funding as outlined in the attached Resolution.
