ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes award of a fixed price contract with Texoma Concrete Cutting, LLC of Denison, Texas for as needed Aviation Runway Repair Services.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The City issued Invitation to Bid 21-63FP, Aviation Runway Repair Services on September 19, 2021.
o Advertised in the McKinney Courier Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 1,016 matching eBid Supplier Notifications
o Of the 1,016 matches, forty (40) were HUB certified vendors
• Out of 1,016 supplier notifications, three (3) bids were received on October 7, 2021.
• The bid was evaluated by staff from McKinney National Airport based on the following criteria.
o 50% Price
o 25% Extent which the goods and services meet the City’s needs
o 22% Response Time
o 3% McKinney Local Presence
• The contract will commence on date of award and continue for a one (1) year period with additional three (3) one-year terms.
• Texoma Concrete Cutting, LLC has been recommended by the McKinney National Airport evaluation staff based on their pricing, experience with the City as the incumbent contractor for the past three years and their ability to meet the City’s needs for emergency and non-emergency requests for services.
