ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Budget and the 2022-2026 Capital Improvements Program by transferring $550,000 from the Airport Operating Fund balance to the Airport Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into Project AI2264, East Side Environmental Assessment, for an Environmental Assessment to support planning and preliminary design for a future development of aeronautical facilities on the east side of the Airport.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• It is necessary to accomplish an Environmental Assessment to study the potential environmental impacts of future development on the east side of the airfield, as anticipated in the Airport’s Master Plan, and will assist the City and regulatory agencies in planning and decision making.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Ordinance amends the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Budget and the 2022-2026 Capital Improvements Program by transferring $550,000 from the Airport Operating Fund balance to the Airport Construction Fund and appropriating the funds into Project AI2264, East Side Environmental Assessment.
• Total Project costs are estimated not to exceed $550,000. The City will be responsible for 100% of the total project costs.
