RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     The Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with Garver, LLC for McKinney National Airport Project AI2264, East Side Environmental Assessment (EA).

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     It is necessary to accomplish an Environmental Assessment to study the potential environmental impacts of future development on the east side of the airfield, as anticipated in the Airport’s Master Plan, and will assist the City and regulatory agencies in planning and decision making.

                     Garver, LLC is currently serving as the City’s engineer of record for McKinney National Airport.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     Total Project costs are estimated not to exceed $550,000. The City will be responsible for 100% of the total project costs.

                     A budget amendment to fund project AI2264, East Side Environmental Assessment (EA), is presented as a companion item on this agenda.
