RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This proposed trail project will connect the existing Wilson Creek trailhead on the north side of Eldorado Parkway to the McKinney Greens parkland. This is a critical connection that will provide a continuous pedestrian connection from this park all the way to our parkland near Lake Forest Drive.
* The proposed project will provide connectivity between Towne Lake and the McKinney Greens parkland and include amenities such as:
o Trail improvements
o Bridge crossings
o Trail overlook
o Site furnishings
* This agenda item will authorize a professional services contract with LJA Engineering, Inc., to provide design and construction administration services for the Wilson Creek Greens Trail, for a contract amount of $137,300 and a not to exceed amount of $145,000.
