RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $194,915.00 as well as all required supplemental agreements thereto, with Studio Outside, LLC for professional landscape architectural services for the E.A. Randles Improvement Project (PK1831- Park Updates), with a not to exceed amount of $221,415.00.
* A contingency of $26,500 allows for the optional additional services to be completed if needed.
* The E.A. Randles Park Improvements are planned to include a new play structure, splash pad, pavilion, refurbished basketball court, ADA accessibility, new parking, irrigation improvements, entry signage, and site furnishings.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Studio Outside, LLC, was selected from a list of pre-qualified landscape architectural firms that Council approved on June 18, 2019.
* The 30-acre neighborhood park currently provides a playground, picnic shelter, and athletic fields.
* E.A. Randles Park is located at 5400 Cedar Elm in McKinney, TX
