RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Matador Engineering Inc. (Matador) to provide building systems commissioning (Cx) related to the McKinney Municipal Complex Project (MMC).
* The selected consultant team, Matador Engineering Inc., submitted a proposal to provide building systems commissioning (Cx) services for the McKinney Municipal Complex Project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Matador's engineers have over 25 years of experience specializing in building systems commissioning (Cx). The city of McKinney has utilized the services of Matador on multiple successful projects and they are currently working with the city on several new and upcoming projects.
* Matador has submitted a proposal for building systems commissioning (Cx) for a total of One Hundred Forty-Nine Thousand, Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars, $149,200.00.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
* The McKinney Municipal Complex project is a CIP project with funds available in FC1707.
