Update on Non-Profit Partnership Pilot

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Staff is planning a kick-off meeting with interested agencies to discuss program parameters. This Non-Profit partnership pilot will allow selected non-profit agencies to certify applications and provide transit fare for residents for a six-month period. This pilot was approved by the MUTD Board in 2020.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     The MUTD will not incur additional cost with this pilot as transit fare will be funded by the non-profit agencies themselves.

•   A pilot program for Homeless Services is also currently under consideration but is separate from this project. We anticipate sharing information about that initiative at a future MUTD meeting.
