ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes a contract award to Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. of Houston, Texas to provide Disaster Debris Hauling Services for the McKinney Fire Department.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The City issued a Request For Proposal (RFP), 22--34RFP to solicit responses from hauling service providers on April 3, 2022.
o Advertised in McKinney Courier Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 712 matching eBid Supplier Notifications which included thirty-six (36) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers.

* Of the 712 supplier notifications, eleven (11) submittals were received on April 22, 2022.
o The submission from Arbor Masters was not evaluated and was disqualified on the grounds of not following the submittal requirements stated in the RFP.

* A committee comprised of staff from the Fire Department reviewed and ranked the proposals based on the following criteria:

o 30 Points - Cost of Services
o 30 Points - Qualifications and Experience of key Staff on similar projects
o 25 Points - Technical Approach
o 10 Points - Equipment Provided
o 10 Points - Reference Letters

* Based on the results of the evaluated proposals, the evaluation committee is recommending a contract award to Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. of Houston, Texas, the highest ranked respondent to provide these services.
