* This Resolution authorizes an award of a fixed price contract with Coast to Coast Contracting of Bonham, Texas for mowing and cleanup Services for water and wastewater locations.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The City issued Invitation to Bid 22-15FP, Mowing and Cleanup Services for Water and Wastewater Locations on May 8, 2022.
o Advertised in McKinney Courier Gazette and Celina Record
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 163 matching eBid supplier notifications which included seven (7) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers.
* Out of 163 supplier notifications, five (5) bids were received on May 26, 2022.
* An evaluation team comprised of staff from Water Utilities and Wastewater reviewed and ranked the bids based on the following criteria:
o 50% Purchase Price
o 47% Bidder's Capacity to Perform Work
* Equipment and Personnel List
* Experience
o 3% Local Vendor Preference
* The evaluation team recommends awarding to Coast to Coast Contracting of Bonham, Texas as the best value to the City.
* Contract will commence on date of award and continue for one (1) year period with an additional one (1) one-year renewal term.
