RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:                     

                     Approval of the Ordinance.

 

ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     This Ordinance will modify the effective reduced speed school times to reflect the changes to the Prosper ISD school schedule for Rock Hill High School. 

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     Prosper ISD has adjusted the school schedules for their high schools for the 2022-23 school year.

                     Rock Hill High School is located on Coit Road within the City of Frisco. With the City Limit between McKinney and Frisco being the centerline of Coit Road, this Ordinance will only modify the effective school times for the northbound lanes of Coit Road to reflect the new school schedules. The effective school times for Rock Hill High School along the southbound lanes will be modified by the City of Frisco.

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     The City of Frisco will modify the school signage to reflect the new school times and schedules.
