ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution approves a list of qualified firms to provide professional landscape architectural services for the design of various park, trail and/or public right of way improvements.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The City utilizes consultants to provide professional landscape architectural services for the design of park, trail and/or public right of way improvements.
* The City issued a request for qualifications (RFQ), 22-24RFQ to solicit responses from professional landscape architectural services.
o Advertised in McKinney Courier Gazette
o Posted on McKinney TV
o 1655 matching eBid Supplier Notifications which included one hundred twenty-six (126) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) suppliers.
* Of the 1655 supplier notifications, nineteen (19) submittals were received on May 13, 2022.
* An evaluation team, comprised of six City employees, reviewed and ranked the statement of qualifications based on the following criteria:
o Project Team
o Similar Project Experience and Client Satisfaction
o Representative Project Approach
o Team Service and Innovation
* Of the 19 firms that submitted statements of qualification, the following ten firms were determined the most qualified:
o Dunaway Associates, L.P.
o Halff Associates, Inc.
o JBI Partners, Inc.
